	Deciding to re-chip my 1997 VT SS in July 2008 was an easy one, made even easier by choosing a reputable technician/installer in the form of John Peek and and his mail order services. What became immediately apparent to me was that being a mail order service didn't mean that I was on my own as far as technical support went but quite the contrary as John and his team were with me all the way.Every facet of my install had to conform to my needs and I'm pleased to say that these needs have been met. The change in my drive was instantly apparent in all areas as forcast by John with the greatest being a huge improvement in throttle response. Torque is greatly improved and the power is now delivered far more smoothly throughout the rev range instead of being at the high end and so standing starts now give me the discreet grin that was missing before!! The car goes heaps better, especially throttle response & from mid range up. Fuel down about 3.5-4 lts per 100k on open road & about half that in town & I think these are probably figures that will prove fair over time. 	Would recommend this for any holden owner looking for that bit more kw out of there motor. For the low cost of this upgrade, the benefits are quite supprising. If i brought any other stock Holden, I wouldn't hesitate doing this again. Simon R Invercargill VX 5.7 Auto
